It Feels Weird

Not writing. I think it’s because in my head while I know TORMENT is written, the story isn’t over. The second half of the story still needs revisions, and I have to write an epilogue. Actually, I want to keep writing Tarian and Wulfson’s story! I miss those two. That happened with Jade and Jase in JADED and Rohan and Isabel in SURRENDER.

It’s a good thing. So this week look for It’s Just Business Tuesday, I’m going to talk about submissions, and the reality of the process and the wishful thinking of the process.

Today I’m blogging over at Fog City Divas about lessons learned from our pets. I know, it sounds kind of lame, but hop on over and read the post. We can learn a thing or two from those little fur balls.

National is in two weeks? I’ll be chatting a bit about that as well. I’m really looking forward to getting out of here for a few days. Mostly though, I’m looking forward to seeing friends.

So, I know it’s been really quiet, but what’s everyone got going this week?

I haven’t written much. The hubby took a week off and we took the kids to the beach, the Air Force Museum, Youngs Dairy for dinner and ice cream, and Coney Island (in Ohio). We had to tell the family about hubby’s orders to leave soon. Man that sucked.

I got a sunburn yesterday and don’t feel much like writing, but I have to. Tuesday’s my critique group and it’s probably the last one until hubby gets home. I’m also babysitting my friend’s two sons.

As always, I’m looking forward to Tuesday’s blog.

I got my teeth cleaned today. How do they look?

I’m working on a WIP from a year ago. It’s sort of something I clicked onto yesterday, started reading, fell back in love with it, and now I’m wondering if I should continue it to the end, or get back to the to revising the finished ms I’d been working on.

    Otherthan that, no big plans.

I’ve been busy with my non-writing life. I spent most of the day catching up with stuff, and now I’m going to try to connect to my story again. After three days away I need to read my notes and the last chapter or so. Argh.

I’m writing a kick-ass book, and just figured out how to get to the ending. 😉
