Still Stuffed
May 11th, 2009

As usual, there was way too much food yesterday.  I’m still uncomfortable. We had two waves of Mother’s Day.  First wave brunch:  my mil, fil, aunt and her dude with pregnant daughter and her hubby.  Second wave:  dinner. All the kids and friends from across the street.  Hubby knocked himself out with the ribs.  The kids did a great job, and it was so freakin’ nice not to have to worry about anyone!

Today it’s back to the grind.  I’m waiting to hear from my agent on a few things, (is it me or are we always waiting on something?).  I have a book to pounce back on, promo for CRAVING, and I promised my youngest son, I’d take him out for a wee bit more shopping today.  I just want to stay in my yoga pants and tank top and write.  I think we should start a campaign to make Mother’ Day a week long holiday.

Anyhoo, just wanted to pop up and say hello.  I hope you all had a great day yesterday!

Ciao for now!

I celebrated Mother’s Day on Saturday, but yesterday was good for me, too. And, yes, every day should be Mother’s Day. 🙂

This is always a very busy week for us. Mother’s Day, followed by younger son’s b-day, and then my wedding anniversary. I’m tired just thinking about it.

Huge Congrats Karin on the wonderful review!

Sounds like you had fun, Karin! Everyone here had a great time and I agree; Mother’s Day should be a week long. In fact, my body pretty much told me that this a.m. 😆
