My Girl Harlow Needs Help!

She’s stuck on a title for her L.O.S.T. book two.  She’s offering a cool prize/s to the person who comes up with a title both she and her editor love.  Check out her blog at for the deets, but for the hell of it, I’m posting the book blurb here too.  🙂  Hey, gotta help a girl out when she needs it!

While tracking uranium-spinning centrifuges in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, L.O.S.T. operative Nikko Cruz is ambushed and left for dead.  The last person he expects to see is Selena Gurerro, the only woman he ever loved and the same woman he was sentenced to death for killing.

Selena has secrets she’s killed to protect.  Deep, dark, otherworld secrets.  A mother driven mad.  A power-hungry father.  A lineage that makes her half-daemon, a fact she despises.  Selena’s most important secret, however, is one she’s already died to keep.  To protect her daughter, she’ll slay daemons, steal ancient artifacts, and drink immortal blood.  But when she sees her lost love dying on the side of a mountain road, Selena discovers she can’t walk away.  Selena saves Nikko by injecting him with the last of her immortal blood serum, even though doing so pits her against her dangerous employer, a vampire crime lord.

When Nikko comes to, he is super human and super pissed.  Soon, he realizes Selena wasn’t a hallucination.  For some reason, Selena, the mother of his daughter, and the one who killed their child—the woman he’d thought he’d killed years earlier—was not only alive, but had just saved his life.  Why?  He wants answers.  He wants blood.  And despite his best intentions, he wants Selena.

When the spun uranium surfaces and is offered to the highest bidder, L.O.S.T. gets back into the mix and Nikko tracks the deadly material to a mysterious organization.  From what he can glean, it’s a terrorist cell and Selena Gurrero is its most valued asset.  Now, Nikko’s job is to regain Selena’s trust, infiltrate the group she works for, and get the U-238 to U.S. soil where it can be safely stored.

Then he’ll finish the job he failed to complete the first time.  He’ll avenge his daughter and rid the world of a beautiful, deceptive evil, one capable of making Nikko burn with desire even as he curses her power over him. But nothing is as it seems and nothing goes to plan…and soon Nikko and Selena aren’t just burning with desire, but blowing the roof off their separate worlds, human and daemon alike…

Sounds like a great story, huh?  As a person in the know, I can vouch for it’s awesomeness.   😉

You can post title suggestions here or over at Harlow’s place!

Thanks  from both of us in advance!
